Following the success of LOOT 2012, The Museum of Arts and Design in New York has asked Katherine to make a piece of work for the permanent jewellery collection. Katherine will start work on the piece in the new year. More detaills to follow soon!

The award will mean that Katherine's work will soon be for sale through online site Made By Hand Online http://www.madebyhandonline.com
Katherine will also be exhibiting at Made by Hand at Tredegar House from 30th November - 2nd December 2012.

Katherine to take part in exhibition at MAD in New York....

Katherine's work has been selected to take part in LOOT 2012, an exhibition of contemporary studio jewellery which will be held at The Musuem of Art and Design in New York. The prestigious selling exhibition, supported by Van Cleef and Arpels, showcases work by 50 of the world's most innovative studio and art jewellers. The exhibition will take place between 11th and 15th September 2012.

Winner of 'Antique of the Future Award' at The Contemporary Craft Fair 2011

Katherine's second year exhibiting at The Contemporary Craft Fair in Bovey Tracey, Devon proved to be very successful indeed as she was awarded the 'Antique of the Future' Award. The Award is sponsored by BBC Homes and Antiques magazine and rewards Katherine with a generous feature in the magazine about the artist and her work.

Katherine to show at Collect 2011

Katherine is very proud to announce that her work will be on display at the Saatchi Gallery, London as part of this year's Collect Exhibition.

Katherine's work was seletced by contemporary art gallery New Brewery Arts in Cirencester, where they will be exhibiting at Collect for the first time. The work will be displayed alongside established and emerging makers who share similar approaches to materials and ideas, including Matthew Harris, Yoko Izawa, Catriona Mackenzie, David Gates and Celestino Valenti.

Katherine's work selected for Electrum Gallery

The contemporary jewellery gallery Electrum in London has recently accepted Katherine Richmond as a new member.

The internationally renowned gallery which is part of Contemporary Applied Arts, is situated on South Molton Street where the likes of Tiffany and Cartier are within walking distance, creating the perfect setting for the very best in contemporary jewellery. The gallery has recently undergone a complete refurbishment and was re-opened last month with an exhibition of work by RCA jewellery students.
